This is the heart-stopping moment an SUV flew over a car during a terrifying high-speed crash. Father John Bok, 87, was on his way to Sunday Mass when another car suddenly veered off the road and hurtled towards his vehicle.

The black car was on course to ram straight into John’s driver-side door after ploughing over a grass verge and crashing through a road sign.

But miraculously, John – and his car – escaped unscathed.

Shocking footage shows the SUV zooming straight over his white car without touching it and then landing on all four wheels.

John, from Ohio, said the young man driving the airborne car had a seizure while behind the wheel and passed out.

And he had no idea the man’s vehicle had soared over him until he was told later and shown the extraordinary footage.

“It’s a miracle,” John told CNA.

“I did not know that the car went over the top of me because I was looking ahead, and it was to my left and above.

“And out of the corner of my eye, I sensed something went by, but I just thought it was a bird or something like that.”

John said he’s partially blind in his left eye and also wears hearing aids.

It was only when a local cop came up to him in a restaurant after the church service that he realised what had happened.

The officer told him he was almost hit by a car and showed John an incredible video of the incident – caught on camera by the funeral home across the street.

“I was in amazement that it had happened,” John said.

He said the police officer confirmed the young man was recovering after being admitted to the hospital.

John said he was amazed no one was killed or injured.

He said that if he got hit and his life was over, it would be a “win-win” situation because “heaven is going to be better than here”.

But John’s still happy to be alive.

“I’m happy I’m still here, and it’s a mystery why I am when you look at that darn video,” he said. “When I see it, I just scratch my head and say, ‘Thank you, Lord.’”
